Welcome to the El Dorado Hills Friends of the Library!

The mission of the Friends of the Library of El Dorado County is to support its libraries in El Dorado County, their patrons and staff; to support library and community outreach programs, services and facilities; to enrich the lives of El Dorado County residents by advocating the use of our libraries and to support our libraries through fundraising efforts which include memberships, gifts and endowments.

Funds raised by the El Dorado Hills chapter of El Dorado County Friends of the Library are used to purchase books and other materials (DVDs, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers) and to support children's programming and events. We raise funds through memberships, lobby gift basket and book sales, book sale events, our newly reinvented Bridge Tournament Fundraiser, and the annual Night at the Library event.

The all volunteer, non-profit El Dorado Hills Friends of the Library raised and contributed $59,069.50 in 2015, essential funds that help make our beloved library an award-winning facility and a gem in our community.
